"Hi, welcome to StageWorks Ltd. We are one of the leading Performing Arts Schools for children aged 4 - 16 years. We believe the performing arts is a positive and creative environment that gives children of all ages confidence, self belief and determination. In the early years (3/4- 8) it helps develop the skills necessary for so much of their life. We offer regular assessments for all the students and do this to encourage development in all aspects of the Performing Arts. The students perform in regular presentations and Christmas Showcases at local theatres and in some areas we perform in festivals/carnivals/competitions.
StageWorks opened in 2000 - we aren't a franchise - and we have the personal touch with our students. All of the staff work together to make our students feel comfortable and happy at StageWorks. I started with a small handful of children in 2000 and 3 staff! I am proud to have over 300 students across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire and a fantastic team of teachers and admin staff. We continue to enjoy working with all of our students and never get complacent! Parents can approach us at anytime with any questions and we will be more than happy to help!
Our Christmas Panto 2011 was Babes in the Wood. All the schools were involved in the production - two teams of children put on a fantastic show at The Kenton Theatre. The staff/crew were extremely proud of all the students (200 performed) and we are looking forward to the 2012 production.
StageWorks are pleased and excited to announce that their 2012 pantomime will be ALADDIN! There are always lots of opportunities at StageWorks to perform whether it be at Festivals, Carnivals or Competitions. There is never a dull moment! This year (so far) we are performing in Bensons Jubilee Celebrations, Caversham Festival, Henley May Fayre, Hexagon Reading for the Noisy Kids festival, HYF Festival platform evening, Henley Drama Festival...... In September we will be concentrating on our pantomime!
We have been very fortunate to have seen some of our students go on to perform professionally in The West End, Film and Television. Please see the 'about us' page for our credits.
Our team comprises of young, dynamic professional, fully qualified, CRB checked tutors who work together to give StageWorks its edge in the Performing Arts industry, we meet every 6 weeks to make sure we are all on the same page and keep StageWorks moving forward with fresh innovative ideas!

StageWorks will be running LAMDA classes in Musical Theatre/Drama for students who would like to gain some qualifications. These classes will start in Henley/Caversham September 2012, we are very excited about this new project, please call 07956 176166 for further information.
We also run adult classes in dance and tap and our age range now goes up to 84! NEW for 2012 are our JUST DANCE classes. These are in Henley and Caversham on Wednesdays/Thursdays at 6.45-7.30pm with Sally-Anne Coleman. You will have fun learning different styles of dance and will get fit and stay happy every week!
