- STAGEWORKS CAVERSHAM FREE TRIAL DATES WEDNESDAY 24TH MARCH, 21ST APRIL AND 19TH MAY. Call 07956 176166 to reserve your FREE place at our NEW school in Caversham and to find our more details on times etc for the Free Trial Sessions. Sally-Anne Coleman and Ioan Havard will be taking these trial dates and they hope to see you there!
- Saturday 27th March - Henley Youth Festival Gala night, Kenton Theatre - Saturday students ONLY – costume details, times to follow.
- Kenton Theatre Drama Festival W/C Monday 3rd May. Saturday Students will be required for one night of this week to compete in this local drama festival
- Saturday 29th May is our Agency Open Day. This is an opportunity for StageWorks students to do workshops with the staff so we can assess the talent within StageWorks. (Successful applicants will be required for a photography session on Sunday 27th June.
- Sunday 26th September - Junior Star for a Night, 7pm at Kenton Theatre, HENLEY (rehearsal dates to be confirmed) Limited Space. For application forms call 01628 898038. PLEASE NOTE IT IS AN EARLIER DATE THAN LAST YEAR!
- Pick’n’Mix Summer Workshops Monday 26th July – Friday 30th July. 9-12 yrs Mon Drama & Dance, Tues Drama & Singing, Weds Drama, Dance & Singing. 10 – 3.00 each day 1 day £22.50 , 2 days £42.50, 3 days 60. 4-6 yrs Thurs/Fri 10 – 12 £15. 7 – 8 yrs Thurs/Fri 12.30 – 2.30 £15

End of Term Presentations
Summer presentation evenings are for parents, friends and new students to come and view what each school has been working on throughout the year. You also have an opportunity to speak to the teachers at these informal events. Dates, times and rehearsals are as follows:
Benson – Youth Hall – 12th July
Cookham - Pinder Hall – 13th July
Caversham – St Andrews Church Hall – 14th July
Henley – Green Room - 15/16/17 July
No extra rehearsals outside of class times.
PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO CLASSES IN HENLEY DURING REGATTA WEEK 28TH JUNE – 3RD JULY (INCL)
- Autumn term starts week commencing 6th September
- Christmas Show for Henley, Cookham, Benson will be the week 5 – 10 December . Details will be confirmed at a later date. Please keep that week free.
StageWorks Junior Star for a Night 2010
StageWorks produce this prestigious event annually at the Kenton Theatre, Henley on Thames. Children aged between 7-16 can enter. Children are put into age categories 7-9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-16 year olds. Only 10 acts allowed in each category. You can enter as an individual, a duet or a group. Backing Tracks can be obtained for a fee. Panel of 5 judges. 1st and 2nd in each category and an overall winner who will take home the Junior Star Trophy and £100 prize money.
All entrants must be able to make the rehearsals 22 May 12.30 – 2.30, 5 June 10 – 12 and also be expected to be at the all day rehearsal on the day of the event. No act to be longer than 3 minutes.

StageWorks Christmas ShowcasesEach year the students at StageWorks work hard towards an end of year show. Last year Henley produced The much loved musical The Wiz. Michael Jackson starred in this musical back in the 70’s as the scarecrow. The Benson and Cookham students performed a medley of songs, dance and drama. All shows are performed in working theatres with a professional technical crew. The shows are for all the family to enjoy. Summer PresentationsEach Summer every StageWorks school presents an informal production to the parents of the pieces they have been working on since the beginning of the year. It is also a good opportunity for the parents to talk to the staff and any new intakes to watch the open evening. |

StageWorks produce a show piece for this event. Last year the students wowed the audiences with their upbeat number from Britney Spears and this year they will be entertaining the crowds with a dance number to JLS
Emma Jane Taylor regularly choreographs for this society and where possible StageWorks students audition for the current production. If you are interested in joining the society then please use the links page to access the HAODS website. 
Director Lloyd White (Henley Drama coach) and Choreographer Emma Jane Taylor (Principal) This show won prestigious NODA award for the chorus work. StageWorks students Olivia Shanahan, Isobel Wright and Cara Wrightson were dancers in this classic tale.
