We can see the confidence
that Dramisco has given our 5 year old daughter. She loves learning the
new dance moves, and having fun! Michele Jones
joined StageWorks when she was ten. She has been part of numerous
performances in a variety of roles and has really enjoyed being on stage.
She has also been excited to attend her classes and rehearsals and loves
to practice at home. As a parent, what more could I ask for - a happy
child who is learning and who makes me very proud. Niki Schafer
Just been to the panto and thought it was FANTASTIC!!!!! Best one yet!!! Thanks so much for all your hard work....Poppy was grinning from ear to ear the whole way home. Such an amazing experience for them!! All three of my Children have attended StageWorks over the years and
they have all loved it. They have all benefited so much from the
confidence performing gives them and at the same time have lots of fun!
The end of year panto is always a huge highlight for the whole family
and the kids are so proud to take part!Emma Thomas
Thank you so much, Sophie had a wonderful time doing the
show and we really appreciate all your hard work - you all
deserve a long holiday now!
Just a quick email to say thank you to you and to all the members of
your team for all the work and enthusiasm you put into getting the
children ready for the shows on Monday and Tuesday - and for all your
support on the show nights. Quite a few of Sean?s school friends came
on Monday night and both they and their parents really enjoyed it and
were very complimentary. And of course his family, including me and
Sean?s dad, all thought it was fab! Sean really enjoyed the experience - apart from being shattered all
week (small price to pay). And it was great for us to see him getting up
on stage and performing, and especially the confidence with which he
delivered his lines.
I've just been to the show and thought it was absolutely
brilliant! And now want to go again! Do you have anymore
tickets for Saturday night?! Sarah Gummer
Wow! Just watched the show and loved it. It's great
seeing all the children's and your hardwork come to life in
such a vibrant, energetic and happy way. Well done to you
all. Jennie Paul
Thank you again, you all worked really hard. Well done. Susan Bowerman
Just wanted to say what a fantastic performance this years Cinderella was, everyone is our group commented on how much of a great time they had and how well the show was put together. Sammy and Millie enjoyed every minute and have not stopped telling all their friends and teachers about it! Thanks very much for all the time and effort you and your team put into it ( hope you enjoy a well earned rest over Xmas).
I'd like to thank you and the team for all your hard work, both Rose
and Poppy had a totally amazing experience and I really think that Rose
has now been bitten by the stage bug!! From the perspective of an
audience member, the show was slick, professional and the entire cast
performed like pro's! How you managed to co-ordinate it is a mystery! Amanda Muir
The pantomime was brilliant and Izzy enjoyed it immensely (she has done nothing but talk about it for the last2 weeks). The little ones were so excited just by the whole experience of having their make-up on, the different costumes and going on a real stage. Angela Robinson
The show was really good and I can see a real difference in my daughter. She is much more confident and enjoys it more which is a credit to the teachers at StageWorks.
Thank you to everyone at StageWorks for the hard work, fun teaching and the enjoyment they give to my children. In under one year you have transformed my son.
?Our children love Stageworks! It's a great atmosphere and very supportive. There's always lots to do whether it's singing, dancing or drama, and the Christmas show at the Kenton is one of the year's highlights. The staff bring their own specialised talents to each session and gladly share their experience with the class, getting the best out of each student. Stageworks agency represents our children and they've been lucky enough to be put forward for several auditions for musicals, TV and photo shoots. They've both had a wonderful experience of performing at The Royal Albert Hall. It was so exciting for them...and for us!"

Both my daughters look forward to going to Stageworks each week. They thoroughly enjoy the singing and dancing and they love the teachers. They have grown in confidence and now both want a future on the stage! This dream has been realised by the performances which are put on annually at the Kenton theatre in Henley. Also, they both auditioned for the Workhouse Kids in Oliver! in the West End. They succeeded in these auditions and this has been an experience that neither of them will ever forget.

I am delighted to be associated with Stageworks as it offers youngsters from all walks of life the opportunity to participate in an exciting vibrant journey, learning a caccophony of skills from dancing to singing, acting to tap.
Friend of Stageworks and Chaperone
My son and a group of his friends were desperate to learn street dance skills but had absolutely no dance background. Emma- Jane (Principal of StageWorks) threw herself into the challenge of running a holiday course for fifteen twelve year old boys - not necessarily the easiest brief ! The boys (all from The Oratory) had simply the best time and immediately wanted me to organise a follow-up which is happening soon. Emma-Jane combined a great mix of dance skills and games which kept the boys focussed and engaged. At the end of the course they had a routine ready to show parents which blew us away ! Emma-Jane was great fun but disciplined too and provided a fun and structured programme. The boys can't wait to go back for more which is as good a recommendation as you can get.
Both my girls have attended Stageworks since the age of 4. They have performed at Christmas Showcases and Pantomime at the Kenton Theatre and end of term productions in the Green Room. They have gained so much pleasure from these experiences.
Stageworks is a fantastic opportunity for any child, building confidence and nurturing talents of the individual child regardless of if they have sights set on the West End or just want to go along and have fun!
Jenny joined StageWorks in September 2002 and has been an enthusiastic member ever since! Her interest has never diminished even as the friends she joined with have dropped out one by one over the years. We live 10 miles from Henley and Jenny attends school in central Reading, neither of which makes it easy to commit to a Henley-based hobby ( especially for rehearsals! ). The fact that Jenny is now one of the longest serving members is down to her commitment, enjoyment and her absolute faith in Emma-Jane and all her staff.
Whether you enjoy performing in front of the lights or just want to learn how to speak, dance and sing with confidence, Stage Works has all the opportunities you could ask for. My children have progressed through the school for 6 years and have performed in pantomimes, showcases, at summer fairs and in small groups for parents-the variety of work they get to perform is fantastic! The enthusiasm in class is contagious and the teachers know how much or little to give to each child to help them develop their confidence. Plenty of fun, plenty of hard work and great results.
It is always great working with Emma-Jane (Principal). She has an extremely professional approach and unsurpassable drive and commitment.
Toby Cruse, Musical Director
Emma-Jane (Principal) has a vibrant and creative personality which has been a major contribution to the success of StageWorks. She is thoughtful and caring of students' needs whilst at the same time empowering them to suceed in their chosen area of theatre.'It's rare to find a tap class that caters so precisely to the needs of
its dancers - a group of 'mature' (!) ladies who have a little bit of
experience and a lot of love for dance. Emma-Jane's classes succeed in
building confidence and challenging you in a relaxed and supportive
atmosphere. She's an amazing dancer and teacher. I look forward to every

Julie Green, Adult Tap
I joimed StageWorks adult tap class 3 years ago (2009). The classes are great fun and challenging! I have made friends and Emma makes everyone feel welcome. Our end of term presentations showcase all the hard work that we put in and the night out afterwards is always fun!
Samantha Riley, Henley
My daughter Manon says "she wishes she could do StageWorks every evening because she loves it so much"
Great teachers, great energy and commitment to make sure that the students get the best experience!
My two girls have been at stageworks for five years and LOVE it. They have been given opportunities for performances in the Kenton Theatre with amateur and professional shows as well as auditions for the West End. We have had fabulous support from Emma-Jane and Sally Ann has given up her own free time recently to help my daughter with her piece for Henley Festival.
My Daughter has never really enjoyed anything enough to stick at it for more that 1 term! But she has now been at Stageworks Cookham for over a year and Loves it! Her confidence has really grown and she is learning loads of fantastic new skills.
This adult dance class takes place every Wednesday morning for mature ladies and is very enjoyable. It is obvious by looking around the room how peoples fitness and co-ordination has improved. The music is great and often reminds us of our youth and the dances we loved. Emma-Jane, StageWorks Director has such energy and teaches us a different routine every week. We are grateful to her - it is such fun!
Stageworks is a great asset to the community, catering so well for young and adults and it is always fun for all!
We had the most wonderful ABBA Birthday party for my daughter. Sally-Anne made sure that the whole party was just right for my daughter, with all her favorite songs and really good dancing routines. Thank you
StageWorks threw the most amazing party for our 6 year old daughter. The children were amused for two hours, and wolfed their tea down in less than ten minutes in order to carry on with the array of games and fun acitivities. The Birthday girl felt special and spoiled throughout and we had no tears from anyone...a first! All for a very reasonable cost. We will definitely be using StageWorks again in the future.
I'm really enjoying Ellie's Zumba and ballet classes. She creates a great atmosphere which feels fun and supportive and she's very conscious of people's different ability levels in relation to telling them how to adapt a move if needs be, which I think gives people confidence. Claire
