the wiz
At Stageworks we like to challenge and test our students and give them experience of all different types of theatrical skills. With this in mind, from 2-6 December 2009 we will be putting on a production of the much loved musical 'The Wiz' – a modern adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz” by Frank L Baum and made famous in a film starring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson. Hugely entertaining for the audience and challenging for the whole school we are sure that this will be a terrific experience for everyone. So please come along and support Dorothy, the Tinman, Scarecrow and Lion on their visit to see the mighty ‘Wiz’ in the land of Oz.
